Terms & Conditions Of Letting

1. Bookings are confirmed, upon receipt of 50% of the total cost of accommodation. The balance remaining is payable 14 days before arrival.
Keys will not be handed over unless the booking is paid for in full.

2. Cyberview reserves the right to apply a minimum night stay pertaining to certain units/seasons.
3. All units are privately owned. Right of admission reserved.
4. Cancellations:
If a cancellation is made 3 Months or more prior to arrival, a 100% refund will be given.
If a cancellation is made between 3 months and 2 weeks of arrival, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
If the cancellation is made within 2 weeks of arrival the tenant will not be eligible for a refund UNLESS the specific unit is re-let for that time period.
There will be no refunds for early departures.
5. Arrival time is from 14h00.
Departure/Checkout time is no later than 10h00, or as arranged.
Earlier arrivals or later departures can be arranged 2 days prior.
6. All keys must be collected from, and returned to our office at 18 Compensation Beach Road. Keys may not be left with security guards or cleaning staff.
7. Tenants will be held responsible for any shortages due to theft, breakages, etc in the unit, and or any misconduct that occurs due to the negligence of compliance to Complex rules /Breach of the Body Corporate rules.
8. Any misbehaviour or disturbance will lead to immediate eviction.
9. Tenants are responsible for their own safety as well as that of their personal belongings. Cyberview / Property owners can not be held responsible for any form of injury or loss.
10. We strongly advise that you set alarms where applicable, and lock doors at night for your personal safety.
11. No pets/birds are allowed in any of the units.
12. NO Matric Rage bookings, or bookings of persons younger than 21 years are permitted. Keys will NOT be handed to students who have had bookings done by parents. Should we find students in an apartment, they will be evicted immediately with no refund.
13. Over-crowding is not allowed. The maximum number of persons (children included) must not exceed the number of beds available.
14. No day visitors are allowed in the booked accommodation, or on Complex premises.
Overcrowding will result in eviction.
15. If the original house/ apartment is no longer available/inhabitable, Cyberview Letting reserves the right to substitute it for alternative accommodation, similar to that booked. If nothing is available a full refund will be given for the remaining days
16. Prior to departure, please ensure that the house/unit is locked, and left in the same condition as it was on arrival.
17. Cyber View takes every care to ensure all appliances are in working order.
Should TV sets, air conditioning units or electrical appliances go faulty during your stay, we will endeavour to have them repaired or replaced as soon as possible. However, no deduction in rent will be allowed for delays beyond our control.
18. Full descriptions of units are available on our website, please be sure to check all the detail of a unit before booking and paying your deposit. We will not substitute alternate accommodation or appliances that is not listed in the description.
19. On receipt of your deposit, you give consent for your contact details to be given to the owner of the property which you will be staying in.
20. Cyberview takes no responsibility for items left behind after departure.
Lost property will be kept for 1 week after departure.
Thereafter it will be donated.
PLEASE NOTE – Should any personal belongings be left in a unit, please arrange to have it collected, alternatively please send a courier to our office for collection.
21. The Client shall not be entitled to:
Assign all or any of the rights and obligations of the client under this agreement to sublet the Premises in whole or part or to give up possession of the Premises to any third party.
22. INDEMNIFY:
23. Accrued Interest: All accrued interest within Cyberview Letting’s Trust Accounts shall be remitted to the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) on an annual basis.
24. Should you fail to make payment as aforesaid or carry out any of your obligations under this agreement, Cyberview Letting shall without prejudice to its rights, be entitled at its discretion, to recover all expenses, costs and charges which Cyberview Letting may incur arising out of your breach, including legal costs on an attorney and client scale and collection commission.
ON RECEIPT OF YOUR DEPOSIT YOU ARE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THE ABOVE CONDITIONS OF LETTING.

- I agree that neither Cyberview Letting nor any other person acting for or through or on behalf of Cyberview Letting shall be liable for any loss or damage, personal injury or wrongful death claim, loss of income or loss of support claim or punitive damages or any other claim of the Tenant or of the Tenant’s representatives or dependants arising out of or in connection with the occupation of the property.
- I agree that this waiver of liability and Indemnity Agreement covers the entire duration of my rental of the accommodation provided to me and I agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Cyberview Letting, its agents and employees, from any and/or all claims made against them arising out of my rental and occupation of the premises.
- I make this agreement on behalf of myself, my dependents, my heirs, my agents and any other person claiming through me.
